Superb Italian silver “Roma” chain necklace from the first decades of the 20th c., the quality of this piece makes me believe that it is indeed a Peruzzi or at least a Coppini creation (their chain necklaces are never hallmarked as such). A generous “rope” necklace, it is comprised of twist-rope chain lengths interrupted by fluted melon and round beads and has four figural charms, all representing symbols or monuments of the Eternal City. Luxurious, it can be worn alone, combined with other vintage chain necklaces in your … neck mess or you can try it with a favorite pendant. Whichever your choice, the result will always be irresistible…
Size / Weight: 39″ long (this is a continuous strand); 39.9 grams

Condition: excellent vintage with generous length and an interesting combination of chain, beads and figural charms; great patina and no damage or repairs noted
