A rather rare to come upon vintage sterling silver Mexican necklace in a repousse interlocking hearts design, this is a piece bearing the signature of AEM, one of my favorite “less celebrated” maestros. Often referred to as AE Heart because his signature consists of his initials A and E in a heart-shaped M, the specific maker worked in Mexico City and his jewelry is always carefully made, very well finished and quite often genuinely inspired.
