Generously long and beautifully crafted, a set of vintage Mexican silver dangle earrings made for Arte en Plata, a Mexico City based shop owned by the Jacopo brothers. Arte en Plata sold high quality jewelry commissioned from independent maestros in Taxco whose initials can often be found marking the pieces as well. Hallmarks / Date: maker’s initials “AJ” as well as “TAXCO STERLING 925” and Eagle 3 assay mark; though the “Arte en Plata” mark is not on the earrings due to lack of space, the matching bracelet bears the whole set of hallmarks; 1950s-60s
