Vintage Mexican silver clamper bracelet, its two opposing wings featuring the image of Quetzalcoatl, the divine feathered serpent, executed in bold repoussage with deep recesses and intense oxidation. Quetzalcoatl jewelry is always very impressive visually and the example at hand does not fail in capturing the eye and grasping the beholder’s attention. Signed by a listed yet still unidentified maestro, this is the perfect bracelet for the daring female…


Size/Weight: 7″ inner circumference; width just shy of 3  1/2″ at center front tapering down to 1″ next to the hinge; 50.3 grams

Hallmarks / Date: maker’s initials “CP” as well as “STERLING TAXCO MEX 925” and Eagle 3 assay mark; 1950s-60s

Condition: excellent vintage with bold repoussage and deeply etched recesses, it oxidation in great shape, nice patina and a good hinge; no damage to the repousse and no repairs
