Massive Los Ballesteros “polka dot” hinged bangle bracelet, this is an iconic, published design for the famous Taxco workshop. True to the spirit of the early modernism of the 1940s, the dots are here made of black lucite and they are in great shape, lustrous and seamlessly laid into the silver. Definitely a bracelet with a huge “bang” factor, sought after by collectors of both Mexican silver and lucite jewelry…


Size/Weight: 6  3/4″ inner circumference (clasped; 2  1/4″ inside diameter); width between 1  3/8″ and 7/8″; 123.6 grams

Hallmarks / Date: maker’s signature as shown as well as “STERLING 925” and “HECHO EN MEXICO”; 1940s

Condition: excellent vintage with normal, expected signs of wear, no repairs noted and a sturdy clasp
