elegant Mexican Deco silver hands and tulips Bracelet ~ an anonymous take on Spratling’s classic

on Sep 27, 2017 in Bracelets, Mexican and Latin American

A beautifully executed anonymous Taxco take on Spratling’s classic “hands and tulips” design, this is one of my favorite versions because of its elegant proportions and the added turquoise accents that enrich the color of the amethyst. The stones are here set en cabochon instead of carved in the form of tulips and the carefully rendered hands hide the clasp. The patina is wonderful and the bracelet’s oval shape makes it a pleasure to wear…
