Gerardo Lopez silver repousse necklace in his signature pectoral style that seems to be growing in popularity among collectors and well-dressers alike. This early Taxco maestro’s work is usually inspired by Margot de Taxco and Los Castillo designs and though his jewelry is a little lighter in weight compared to the big two workshops, it is impeccably executed, perfectly finished and has a wow factor that sweeps you off your feet. Size/Weight: 16  1/2″ long (wearable); pectoral part is 4  7/8″ wide with a drop of approx. 3″; width of the chain is 7/8″; 80.8 grams

Hallmarks / Date: fully and appropriately marked on necklace as shown (the hallmarks are not too deeply impressed but they are there); pre-1948

Condition: excellent vintage in one of Lopez’s more impressive designs, with no damage noted and great patina
