Exceptional quality and an unusual design that brings to mind Hector Aguilar characterize this Mexican Deco sterling silver bracelet. Signed by a listed yet still unidentified maestro, its heart-shaped links are made of very thick silver sheet with cut-outs of hand-chased tulips , their floral heads leaning inwards to gently touch the skin. A bracelet that bespeaks the craftsmanship of its maker and the pride the early Taxco maestros took in their work…

Hallmarks / Date: maker’s initials “A.L.” as well as “STERLING” and “TAXCO 925”; 1940s

Condition: excellent vintage, beautiful in its simple yet strong design, very generous in weight, with warmly glowing patina and no damage or repairs noted
