A post-1948 Los Ballesteros Mexican silver and tiger’s eye necklace, this is a luxurious piece not only because of the ornate silver-work but also because of the colors in the stone cabs. There is something magical about tiger’s eye – the striations in the stone make the cabs look like feline eyes and the molten golden browns and caramels impart a sense of sweet warmth and abundance.
