Margot de Taxco’s design no 5410 is, in my opinion, one of her best moments in the combination of daring repoussage, beading and oxidation. I love the clamper in the series but the pectoral that I am presenting here is simply divine. Superb craftsmanship, weight that makes for a substantial yet not burdensome presence and timeless elegance elevate this necklace into the realm of precious heirlooms…


Size/Weight: approx. 17″ long (wearable); pectoral part is 3  3/4″ wide by 1  3/8″ tall; width at chain is 1/2″; 87.0 grams

Hallmarks / Date: Margot de Taxco’s signature as well as des. no 5410 and Eagle 16 assay mark; 1950s
