In the tradition established by Matilde Poulat, an early Deco repousse silver bracelet in the so-called Mexico City style, this is a piece for the daring female. Classically “archeological” in inspiration, this mask-dominated bracelet has the hand-crafted characteristics that are so unique to the genre: textured repoussage, an almost naive approach to finishing, a motif that comes out of Mexico’s pre-Colombian past and a primordial appeal that becomes more potent the longer one looks at it.
