Fabulous Taxco set of two bangle bracelets from the early and middle periods of Mexico’s 20th c. Silver Renaissance, this pair is comprised of one Etruscan style piece and a more difficult to find example with elaborate florals in thick relief. The two look stunning together and even though I said in a different post that I find combinations like this perfect for the summer, it is true that they would look equally gorgeous worn over a long black sleeve.

Hallmarks / Date: maker’s initials “AMF” and “MEXICO 925” on the Etruscan bangle and “A.M.P.”, “STERLING 925” with Eagle 14 assay mark on the floral; 1930s-40s for the Etruscan and 1950s-60s for the floral
Condition: excellent vintage with a no flaws noted and the patina you want to see on well-loved, well-cared for silver
