Rare and early a Los Castillo Mexican silver and amethyst necklace, this beauty is a veritable Taxco treasure. Comprised of 3 strands of small, hand-wrought beads accented by a big, lusciously colored central cabochon, it is completed by a special silver clasp adorned with a smaller yet equally beautiful stone. The high content of the alloy used here (.980 instead of the standard sterling, .925) has allowed for the most wonderful patina to develop.
