By in archived |

Vintage .800 silver brutalist necklace, this European – Polish or Italian? – example is an ode to texture and patina. One of the most tactile necklaces I have had over the years, its folded and crimped surface invites the touch as much as it captures the eye. A gorgeous piece and a veritable pleasure to wear and to behold…   Size/Weight: very comfortable 15″ long (wearable; might even feel a little roomier due to the curve at center front); width between 1 1/4″ and 3/16″; 51.0 grams Hallmarks / Date: “800” with a second hallmark which is not legible to my eyes, possibly maker’s name or place of origin; 1960s-70s Condition: excellent vintage with great patina, a fantastic surface, very comfortable to wear and with no problems noted   SOLD – Thank you! Erika Hult de Corral Mexican silver Necklace ~ Taxco modernist design
