Vintage Marcel Boucher sterling silver brooch from the renowned designer’s “Parisina” line that was made in Mexico for a brief period around WWII when  jewelry manufacturing became difficult in Europe due to the lack of primary materials. Rare and hence avidly collected, Marcel Boucher’s Parisina line was crafted in Mexico for a few years around WWII. The sterling silver bracelet at hand is quite a find – slick and very very mod, with an inventive clasp that blends into the piece when you have it on but still has two little beads on the link that holds it so you can find it again, and with generous in size, prong-set amethyst glass gems adorning it.
