Sigi Pineda Mexican silver and two pearls Cuff Bracelet ~ a Taxco modernist gem

By in archived |

Slick, modernist Sigi Pineda sterling silver and pearls cuff bracelet, the two pearls lifted above their oxidized background and showcased in a shadow-box asymmetrical opening. This is Sigi at one of his best moments, I believe, the choice of materials a favorite of mine and a combination that Antonio Pineda also benefited from during his career…   Size/Weight: 6  3/4″ inner circumference (including the 1  3/8″ gap); 1  1/16″ at center front; 51.6 grams Hallmarks / Date: Sigi’s signature in script above “Tasco” as well as “MADE IN MEXICO TAXCO”, Eagle 1 assay mark and des. no 57; 1950s Condition: excellent vintage, sheer pleasure to wear, with softly glowing patina and its oxidation and pearls in great shape   SOLD – Thank you!
