Early Taxco beauties, like the necklace I am presenting here, don’t need a big name signature to shine! Steeped in the Spanish Colonial tradition, the piece at hand is set with chunky amethyst stones, carved and held in place with lengths of twist-rope wire while the links hosting them have wire-work and beading details…   Size/Weight: approx. 16  1/2″ long (wearable) by 1  1/2″ wide; 86.0 grams Hallmarks / Date: “TAXCO 925” in early, raised letters; 1930s-early 1940s Condition: excellent vintage with gorgeous stones, richly colored and with inclusions that add depth and mystery, great patina and no damage or repairs   SOLD – Thank you!
