Both luxurious and a pleasure to wear, this vintage Jacopo sterling silver lariat necklace was made in Taxco in the 1950s-60s. Rich tassels mark the ends of the thick, heavy twist rope chain and the little clip that comes with it allows you to very the way you want the necklace to wear. There is the lightest, faintest, barely-even-there impression of an old vermeil finish that has mostly gone yet enough of it is still present to impart a stunning glow to the lariat…   Size/Weight: 44  3/4″ long (end to end); tassels are 2  3/8″ with the sphere being 11/16″ in diameter; chain is 3/8″ thick; 212.0 grams Hallmarks / Date: maker’s signature “N JACOPO” as well as “TAXCO 925” and Eagle 3 assay mark; 1950s-60s Condition: excellent vintage, having a luxurious, stunning presence, with beautiful patina and no damage or repairs...
