Spratling design Mexican Deco silver hands and tulips Bracelet

By in archived |

A beautifully executed anonymous Taxco take on Spratling’s classic “hands and tulips” design, this is one of my favorite versions because of its elegant proportions and the added turquoise accents that enrich the color of the amethyst. The stones are here set en cabochon instead of carved in the form of tulips and the carefully rendered hands hide the clasp. The patina is wonderful and the bracelet’s oval shape makes it a pleasure to wear…   Size/Weight: 7 1/8″ inner circumference (clasped) by 1 1/2″ wide at center front; 61.3 grams Hallmarks / Date: simply signed “SILVER MEXICO”; pre-1948 Condition: excellent vintage with gorgeous stones, nice colors and the patina you want to see on a lovingly kept bracelet of this age Inv. #14019     SOLD – Thank you!
