Victoria Mexican silver Necklace ~ Cony Taxco modernist wave design

on Jan 18, 2017 in Mexican and Latin American, Necklaces

Slick modernist Victoria necklace wrought in sterling silver, its wave-shaped links and oval connectors riveted on the back the way all high quality jewelry from Taxco was made. Ana Nunez de Brilanti signed her pieces both Victoria and Cony and here we can see the two signatures together. Very reminiscent of similar Scandinavian designs, the necklace also brings to mind Sigi Pineda’s minimalist creations and its fluid lines are a treat to the eye…

Size/Weight: 15″ long (wearable; might feel a little more comfortable due to the dip in the wave links); 1/2″ wide; 34.3 grams.
