I have had enamelwork by maestro Villa before and I am always excited to find another example of his jewelry. Always working off Margot de Taxco original designs, I suspect that he must have been a part of her workshop; his enamels are immaculate with captivating translucence, their colors are similar to Margot’s and the quality of workmanship en par with the best talleres. Here the blue is vibrant, almost turquoise but not quite, making the silver details in the links pop – perfect for the summer but not confined to its hot days…
