Dated by its patent no to the mid-1940s, this late Deco Victorian Revival scimitar brooch is a big, beautifully... dangerous piece! I am completely taken by the combination of that sharp, threatening edge with the softness and delicacy represented by the perfectly rendered roses and leaves adorning the scimitar's hilt.
