antique Arts and Crafts silver and Peking glass foliate Ring

True to the philosophy of the Arts and Crafts movement which valued artistry and craftsmanship at the expense of ostentatious materials this early 20th c. ring is wrought in silver and centered by a glorious Peking glass cabochon. Size / Weight: sz 4.25 US (easily resizable); face is 1 1/8” N-S and 5/8” E-W; approx. 1/2” rise; 9.7 grams

Hallmarks / Date: not signed for maker nor hallmarked for metal quality yet tested and guaranteed to be solid silver of at least .800 though it’s probably sterling; 1900-1920s

Condition: excellent vintage with amazing detail in the ring’s shoulders, masterfully rendered design, great patina and a beautiful “stone”, with no damage and no repairs noted
