Antonio Pineda Mexican silver and three pearls Ring

I love pearls and when they are nested in an Antonio Pineda fine silver modernist setting, I consider myself in heaven! All the more so when it’s three glorious, softly shimmering pearls we are talking about. Graduated in size and each one a different hue, they are comfortably sitting in their precious channel, as if their only concern is to showcase the variety of nacre colors. And don’t you think the ring looks absolutely smashing accompanied by that Antonio brooch next to it in one of the photos?

Size / Weight: sz 8 1/2 US; 7/16” wide; 12.2 grams

Hallmarks / Date: Antonio crown as shown alongside the Los Castillo Co-operativa mark, “HECHO EN MEXICO”, “970” and Eagle 58 assay mark; late 1950s-early 1960s

Condition: excellent vintage with great patina (you can always buff to a higher sheen), great design and the pearls secure in their setting; the nacre is in very good shape in all of them with a tiny little impurity on the side of the smallest one - truly difficult to spot with a naked eye and just part of the pearl’s creation
