antique Victorian gold-filled Watch Fob with white agate
Admittedly a bit … out of character for me yet some time ago I ended up with a small collection of antique gold-filled watch fobs, seals and keys. In the next couple of weeks I will be presenting those pieces and today I am starting with this massive, very ornate Victorian example. Quite impressive and in excellent condition, it has a semi-translucent white agate "slab" that is still unengraved - perfect if you want to add your own personal touch to it...
Size / Weight: 1 5/8" tall by 1" wide; 14.8 grams (FYI only since this is not a solid gold piece)
Hallmarks / Date: not signed for maker nor hallmarked in any way; later Victorian, I believe
Condition: excellent vintage with its gold finish in excellent shape, a nice piece of white agate, with no damage and no repairs noted
