antique Victorian gold filled Watch Key / Fob ~ winged lions

Two impressive winged lions with their backs on each other make up the body of this antique yellow and rose gold-filled watch key. Part of a small collection I acquired some time ago that will be presented within the next couple of weeks, it is a very nicely detailed figural "bauble", perfect to be enjoyed alone or added to your neck mess...

Size / Weight: 1 3/4" tall (including bail and pin) by 1 1/8" wide; 4.8 grams (for reference only since there is no precious metal here)

Hallmarks / Date: not marked for maker nor hallmarked for metal quality; second half of 19th c.

Condition: excellent vintage with minimal wear to the gold finish (you can see it more pronouncedly in the photos thanks to the macro lens but to the naked eye it is literally undetectable), with nice, crisp detail in the lions and their wings, with only a couple of very very small, shallow nicks and no offensiver damage or repairs noted
