Felipe Martinez Piedra y Plata Mexican silver azur malachite Ring

$0.00
SOLD

Matching the set of earrings that is also available here (you can see the demi together in two of the photos) this Mexican silver and azur-malachite ring by maestro Felipe Martinez is an ode to the power of color. Striking greens and dark, rich blues delight the eye while the elegance of the sterling ring shoulders complement in the best possible way the magic of the stone…

Size / Weight: currently sz 6 or 7 US (the ring has currently a sizer that brings it down to a size 6 but without it, it is a sz 7; it can also be easily resized); face is 3/4” in diameter; 9.5 grams (with the sizer)

Hallmarks / Date: signed with workshop’s name, “STERLING TAXCO”, 7 (for size), and des. no 215 alongside Eagle 3 assay mark; 1950s-60s

Condition: very good vintage featuring an elegant design, with the azur-malachite left natural rather than being polished and a couple of very tight, short expected fissures in the stone

Inv# 15520
