Industria Peruana Peruvian silver and 18k gold Bracelet

$290.00

Hand-hammered silver links shaped like concave elongated pyramids overlaid with 18k figural gold appliques make up this impressive 1950s Peruvian bracelet by Industria Peruana. Crafted in silver first and then covered in 18k gold sheet the appliques are inspired by ancient Inca motifs and show birds, temples and gods. Size / Weight: 7 3/8” long (wearable) by 1 7/8” wide; 62.1 grams

Hallmarks / Date: “18K” and partial maker’s mark (I read it as “PERUANA”); no hallmark for the quality of the silver yet the bracelet has been tested and guaranteed to be of sterling purity; 1950s

Condition: excellent vintage with stunning presence, careful finishing, and no damage or repairs noted except of a very small piece of the gold leaf overlay that is missing in one of the figural linka - not visually offensive yet you can see it here in more detail thanks to the macro lens
