Based on Hector Aguilar’s “scroll and bead” parure this set of Mexican silver repousse earrings dates from the 1940s and is one of Taxco’s classic “first period” designs. Sculptural from inception, the earrings have acquired a deep, silky patina over their long life that enhances their three-dimensional quality and invites the touch.
